The United Ukrainian Charitable Trust was formed by the Ukrainian community in 1974, and since that time, the Trust continues to work together with Ukrainian Canadian Social Services (Toronto) to respond to community needs.

The main goal of the United Ukrainian Charitable Trust is to assist children and
youth from low income families to access programs such as Ukrainian nursery
schools, Ukrainian Saturday schools, school heritage programs and summer
camps, and to support charitable and cultural community programs.

In 2008, $14,201 of assistance was provided to Ukrainian schools and nursery
schools to support 47 children and youth, and to Ukrainian Canadian Social
Services (Toronto) for social service programs.

The United Ukrainian Charitable Trust is a registered charity. The charitable
registration number is 89095 1049 RR0001.

All donations of $10.00 or more receive an official tax receipt.
