

The Pomich Ukraini Fund's primary goal is
to assist Ukrainians in need wherever
they may be around the world.
The Pomich Ukraini Fund was established
by Ukrainian Canadian Social Services
Inc.
of Canada in 1975. Each branch of
Ukrainian Canadian Social Services,
including the Toronto branch, has
a volun-
teer committee responsible for
raising
funds and supporting or carrying out
assistance programs in response to
identified needs.
In 2008, the Pomich Ukraini Fund at Ukrainian Canadian Social Services
(Toronto) was involved in the following assistance programs in Ukraine:
Summer Camps for needy children and youth
Flood relief in Western Ukraine
Support to children in orphanages and schools, and to university
students
Support to seniors, the disabled and Veterans of WW2
Soup Kitchens and Food Banks
Clothing aid
"Family to Family" sponsorships.
In 2008, a total of $125,753 of assistance was provided to Ukrainians in need in Ukraine.

All donations of $10.00 or more receive an official tax receipt.
